Jonathan Spoliansky

Born to Argentinian parents, Jonathan was born and raised in South Florida in a bilingual home. During his formative years, he traveled to Argentina several times, as well as to various other Latin American countries. In 2000, after graduating with honors from high school, he moved to Gainesville, to pursue his studies at the University. A graduate from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida, Jonathan joined the i2i team in 2008 as a manager and an interpreter. Upon joining i2i Languages, he brought his experience as a high school Spanish teacher and as a salesman for a major kitchen and bath distributor. This previous work experience allowed him to effectively manage i2i while still maintaining the care and attention needed when working with people.

In 2009, Jonathan became the Chief Financial Officer and DIrector of i2i Languages. In this new role, he began the rigorous task of standardizing the business’ accounting practices, streamlining operations, growing the network of interpreters and translators, increasing the number of customers, implementing new marketing strategies and refocusing the vision of the business thereby renewing the spirit with which i2i Languages, Inc. was originally founded with. He is a fluent speaker of English, Spanish, and Portuguese, a devoted husband and father, and an avid gardener.

Eduardo Arenas

Eduardo has been a professional legal interpreter, but beyond that, he has been fully immersed in two cultures since infancy. Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia until the age of 16, he was very fortunate to attend Colegio Nueva Granada, a bilingual school with an extensive and demanding curriculum in both English and Spanish. After a family move to Florida in 1995, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Clearwater High School and went on to complete his undergraduate studies in advertising at the University of Florida in the fall of 2001. During this time, he founded i2i, North Central Florida’s first ever language interpreting agency in October of 2002. Since then, he has been dedicated to promoting and upholding interpreting and translating as a serious and legitimate professional career requiring extensive training and preparation.

While completing coursework for his Master’s degree in cultural anthropology at the Latin American Studies Department of the University of Florida, Eduardo took and successfully passed both the written and oral portions of both the State of Florida’s and the U.S. Federal District Court’s legal court interpreting exams, effectively becoming one of only two State-certified interpreters in the area at the time, as well as the area’s first federally certified court interpreter. To this day, Eduardo continues on his mission to have professional legal interpreting and translating be recognized and upheld as such by the State of Florida Judicial System and by the legal profession at large. Eduardo is also a dedicated musician, an avid reader and a worldwide traveler.
